We've applied for the Senja Gateway BTO (Build-to-Order) in July 2010. Growing up in Bukit Panjang, I've always wanted a flat there but Boyfriend prefers those areas in the north-east (Sengkang, Hougang).


Since we've got to get ourselves prepared with a unit before registering our marriage and chances are hard to come by for BTOs in Bukit Panjang, we decided to apply for it. Boyfriend initially wanted a resale flat, considering that it's ready available and pricings are somehow similar. One difference though, is the number of years the flat has been around. So, our final decision is to go ahead to apply for the sales launch instead.

Applying for the ballot costs S$ 10, application to be done online and to be paying via i-banking/credit card channels. Whole procedure was rather easy to fill in, and within minutes, I submitted the application.

We're actually rather worried on the availability of the flat as we've seen over-subscribed situation just two days before the balloting ends. Results came in pretty fast, on 14th September we received our queue number! Enquiry of the results are made online, via THIS LINK.


Was in the office while I checked the results and I shouted like hell, I was just so darn happy that we're so lucky! There are so many others who would have spent umpteen times but still, couldn't get the desired queue number. There's a total of 313 units for the 4 room flat, and our queue number is in the 2 hundreds range, so we're still glad that we'd still have a chance to choose for the unit we want (hopefully!) =D

This is the estimated completion look of it. It's gonna be greens and greens all around, hopefully we'd be able to get a good unit and avoid all disturbances coming from the nearby expressway (KJE).



Well, I'd continue tomorrow on the priority scheme and more updates on the choosing of a good unit.
